Located in Michigan's Thumb, 9
miles East of Caseville or 9 miles West of Port Austin just
off of M-25, turn South on Oak Beach Rd. to Loosemore Rd. East
to the Nature Center entrance. 14 miles Northwest of Bad Axe.
We are located 45 miles west of Bay City following M-25, 90
miles north east of Flint and about 2 hours north of Detroit.
No matter where in Southeastern Michigan, you are a short
drive to one of the areas most beautiful areas.
Huron County
is proud of its fabulous shoreline as well as its productive
farmland. The Nature Center is located between the two areas.
To our north is Lake Huron and just a few miles south of the
center are open fields. Our wooded acres, once covering the
entire thumb area, must be preserved for the enjoyment of
all. |
