Located in Michigan's Thumb, 9 miles East of Caseville or 9 miles West of Port Austin just off of M-25, turn South on Oak Beach Rd. to Loosemore Rd. East to the Nature Center entrance. 14 miles Northwest of Bad Axe. We are located 45 miles west of Bay City following M-25, 90 miles north east of Flint and about 2 hours north of Detroit.

No matter where in Southeastern Michigan, you are a short drive to one of the Thumb's most beautiful spots!
Huron County is proud of its fabulous shoreline as well as its productive farmland. The Nature Center is located between these two areas. To our north is Lake Huron and just a few miles south of the center are open fields. Our wooded area, once covering the entire Thumb, must be preserved for the enjoyment of all.
